Bonsai: The art of finding zen through tiny trees

We are excited to share that our founder and instructor Larry Naeder, was invited to the show “Daytime” on WFLA, the NBC affiliate in Tampa Bay.  He joined Farron Hipp and Maggie Rodriguez to talk about the art and share his passion for bonsai, and brought along a few trees so they could experience the pruning process.

Bonsai is an ancient art that involves growing and shaping miniature trees in shallow pots. It requires patience, dedication, but also enhances creativity and brings peace and joy to the practitioners. Bonsai enthusiasts can express their artistic vision through the trees, and also learn to appreciate nature and life.

Larry hosts the popular event, Bonsai & Brews, we partner with local breweries in the Tampa Bay Area to offer a fun and relaxing evening of bonsai and beverages.  You can enjoy a craft brew while you create your own bonsai tree!  It’s a great way to meet new friends and discover a new hobby.
